Why is it that a girl can hit a guy and the guy can't do anything?

So if a girl hits a guy why can't the guy hit back I mean is he suppose to just stand there and take the hit?Is it because girls are weaker than guys? I just dont understand why...just a random question I wanna no ur opinions!
