I want to buy a sailboat and retire to the med, where do i start looking.?

When I first retired in the early 1980's I bought a used Arpegee 30 and lived on it in the marina just behind the lighthouse in Marsaills. You DO know there is no VAT on boats in Holland, right? The best place to take your boat to live on it is the GREEK ISLANDS.. fantastic cruising.. but Turkey is just as good. If you want something more upmarket, then base in Palma de Mallorca.
